I am leaving knowing another life exists; that somewhere across the world, I can still picture the rhythm of life on this campus, thousands of miles away. That thought alone, from now on, will create a magical bond between me and HKUST(GZ).

My experience at HKUST (GZ) was incredible. I was given a variety of opportunities from public speaking, to collaborative, team-based projects with my peers. The campus itself is full of fantastic facilities, helpful staff, and wonderful places to eat and drink.

The PLACE 2024 program at HKUST(GZ) was an incredible experience. Through the playshops, I strengthened my debating, critical thinking, and creative skills. There was a strong focus on Chinese culture, which had fascinated me before — and now, even more so.

Stepping onto the modern HKUST(GZ) campus, I was curious about diving deep into Chinese culture and cuisine, as well as meeting an interesting blend of people from all around the world. From engaging lectures on Artificial Intelligence to hands-on workshops, every day offered new insights.

HKUST(GZ)'s stunning architectural design and the advanced technology integrated into teaching left a deep impression on me. The campus feels modern and forward-thinking, creating an inspiring environment to learn and connect with others. I got the sense that the future is being built here.
